Ambleteuse, nord

In the village of Ambleteuse is to find at the north side of the village a group of bunkers, stating at the Rue de Bethune.
At the corner is to see the top of a St bunker and we think it must be a R631. At the other side of the crossing partly under a house we think it could be a Pak bunker.

Ambleteuse, sud.

Driving south over the boulevard you will see a big old French fort looking over sea, Fort Ambleteuse.

On top of this fort are also some German works added during the war, a 5cm KwK, Tobruk for tank turret and a Vf observation post.
Behind the fort more inland are located the St bunkers from this Stützpunkt in a partly sandy and swampy terrain now and then covered by the sea tide.
